General Overview

The mod team is responsible for the smooth, day to day running of the ASMRcraft server. 

There are two roles available for application on the mod team:

  1. Helper

  2. Moderator

Overall, the mod team works together to keep an eye on the in-game chat for those asking questions and looking for help; resolving issues or answering queries, and escalating to the admins and moderators where necessary. Equally, they're there to maintain the ethos of the server, which is a relaxed and wholesome experience for everyone (i.e. stopping any toxic players or rule-breakers in their tracks).​

Helper

May also be called "Guides"

Helpers look to solve simple issues and questions on the server.  Helpers are those who have good experience of the server, that can look to help new players become better acquainted with things.

We are looking to recruit a good number of Helpers! 

Requirements:​

  • The minimum requirements stated on the main application page (must read)

  • Have at least 1 month (real time) experience on the server

  • Have at least 36 hours playtime on the server ("/playtime" to find your time)

  • Solid understanding of the commands, plugins, and rules of the server
  • A clean record on ASMRcraft is recommended but not essential

Responsibilities:

  • Keep an eye on the chat for questions and any rule-breaking 

  • Escalate bigger issues to moderator (or admin, where necessary). This might include rule-breaking requiring muting or banning, or help that requires certain moderator/admin commands to resolve. 

Moderator

Moderators are high responsibility staff members. They have access to high level commands and permissions, and so this status is only given to long-term, highly experienced, and responsible players with a totally clean record.

We are not actively looking for new moderators, but feel free to apply

Requirements:​

  • The minimum requirements stated on the main application page (must read)

  • Have at least 3 months (real time) experience on the server

  • Have at least 14 days playtime on the server ("/playtime" to find your time)

  • Available to be in-game for at least 5 hours per week

  • Solid understanding of the commands, plugins, and rules of the server
  • Have been a helper in the past / a highly engaged, helpful member of the community
  • A clean record. Only in exceptional circumstances will someone with a previous record of rule-breaking be successful in applying as moderator. 

Responsibilities:

  • Keep an eye on the chat for questions and any rule-breaking 

  • Escalate bigger issues to admin where necessary

  • /tp to players needing personal assistance

  • /ban, /tempban, /mute in accordance with our rules

  • /spectate to keep an eye on suspicious activity
